THE BRAND
Founded in 1994, Canadian-based company K&M Bamboo Products Inc. created the Silkroad® bamboo brand and is one of the foremost brands in the bamboo flooring industry. With nearly twelve years in the market, Silkroad is one of the first bamboo flooring brands in the world.

Silkroad is manufactured in China at ISO 9001:2000 and 14001 Certified facilities capable of producing over 1,000,000 sq.ft of bamboo flooring annually to ensure a consistent supply of the finest, A-grade quality, bamboo floor — a stage only achieved through years of experience.

Our flooring begins in the mountains of Zhejaing and other provinces as 5-6 year old bamboo plants. Unlike our competitors, Silkroad bamboo passes formal inspection stations during production. At each station, every flooring plank is evaluated for color and defect, and each of our production employees are responsible for identifying and culling out anything that will compromise Silkroad quality.

Strategically placed warehouses near the US-Canada border allow Silkroad bamboo to ship to any destination within North America — Vancouver to Miami, San Francisco to Halifax, in 1-6 business days.

The Silkroad bamboo flooring line features: pre-finished and unfinished engineered solid, pre-finished engineered composite, pre-finished engineered click floating floors, and pre-finished laminate floors.

Since it's beginning in 1994, Silkroad bamboo has covered over two million square feet of interior space across North & Central America.
